For those of you who know us here at Boulder Granola, you know we’re Boulder to the core. Yoga instructors, the Flatirons, climbers, prairie dogs, cyclists, Ralphie the Buffalo; we hold them all dear to our hearts. This wonderful town is in our blood, which is why we’re so excited to announce the newest experiment coming out of our kitchen.

Using Boulder’s, and possibly the world’s, greatest producer of nut butters, Justin’s, we’re excited to introduce our Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Granola. We’ve combined the goodness of our Chocolate Chunk Granola and Justin’s Peanut Butter to create a limited batch of the best granola you’re going to find, and, as always, it’s made using only the finest organic, all-natural and non-GMO ingredients.

This pic taken by our beautiful friend Leia at her morning meeting at One Village (an absolutely wonderful non-profit) has inspired us! We want to do a Spy game, and here’s how to play!

If you spy someone eating Boulder Granola who you don’t know, take a picture and upload it to our FaceBook wall, or tweet it @BoulderGranola, and you get a bag of your choice of flavor, in the same size as the one spotted!

We know that it would be easy to stage these photos, but the idea is to be sneaky! and we think we can trust ya’ll. Gotta be someone unknown! k?

Climbing for a Great Cause!

What’s up Granola crunchers? Any of you want to jump on board a rockin’ Saturday morning climb? We are proud to be sponsoring a cool event at The Spot Bouldering Gym. The Pink Ribbon Climbers have put together a great climb up Boulder Canyon, and it’s for a great cause! Survivors and Caregivers are invited to take part in a Climb that will raise money in support of Breast Cancer survivors. You are guaranteed to be challenged, learn more about climbing from The Spot’s expert instructors, meet new people, as well as walk away with a goodie bag that will include a bag of primo Boulder Granola.

Ages: Adult

When: 8:00 AM, August 13th

Where: Boulder Canyon(Roundezvous at The Spot click here for map)

Cost: $45

Included: Gear, Instruction, Transportation, Guiding

Meet at The Spot Bouldering Gym to pick up equipment before heading up beautiful Boulder Canyon to easily accessible beginner and intermediate rock climbing. A 10-20 minute hike leads to the base of spectacular rock.

The Most Delicious Peach Crisp Recipe You Will Ever Try

Boulder Granola Peach Crisp

Ingredients:

4-5 cups fresh peaches

1 cup Boulder Granola

1 tsp cinnamon

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup flour

1 stick melted butter

Slice peaches and place in a 9 x 13 glass pan.

Mix together the flour, granola, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter to make crumbs.

Spread over the peaches.

Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes at 350 degrees, until golden brown.

Serve with ice cream and eat ’till you can’t eat no mo’.

You can use apples, plums, pears or berries instead of peaches too!

The Adventurous 500 Feature Boulder Granola

What a fun time! The Adventurous 500 came to Boulder to feature Boulder Granola in their latest Video. We had a blast hanging with Wade, and the rest of the crew from the Adventurous 500. We tie-dyed, hula hooped, ate granola, played music, danced, and laughed. It’s always a party under that Boulder Granola Tent! We love you Boulder! Special thanks to Julian West for the music, Jesse for the expert hula hoop skills, Daryl for being awesome, and Mile High Organics. Also a warm thank you to Naturally Boulder and Alex Hanifin for organizing this groovy event.

We want to shout out the Pink Ribbon Climbers for putting together an exciting Climb this Saturday to benefit Live by Living. Live by Living is an powerful organization that works to support surviviors through back country experiences. Breast Cancer is something that strikes very close to home for us at Boulder Granola. That’s why we are excited to be a sponsor for this awesome event this Saturday, July 16th at 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Come one come all to an event that will benefit our pink ribbon ladies, because the fight is never over.

Meet us at The Spot Climbing Gym, our primier climbing gym here in boulder, at 8 a.m. We will pick up gear and equipment and then head up the spectacular Boulder Canyon for our adventure. The Climb will be for all abilities, challenging enough for experienced climbers as well as beginners.
